About UsThe Nehemiah Community Foundation was established in the year 2000 by Nehemiah Corporation of America. It provides grants to non-profit and faith-based agencies supporting the intellectual, spiritual, and economic growth of individuals and families and supports programs encouraging self-sufficiency and community restoration. The Foundation supports programs consistent with its mission. The Nehemiah Community Foundation is based in Sacramento, California. However, it supports community groups and organizations throughout the nation with the state of California being its primary giving area. The Foundation’s giving interests span from the provision of support to local homeless programs to the support of advanced and complex theatrical programs for multicultural students at the Kennedy Center in New York. Drawing upon our faith-based heritage and values, the Nehemiah Community Foundation serves as a catalyst for educational development and wealth empowerment for individuals and communities. |
